Digital Humans for Jardiance

DOTDOT worked with the team from SOUND Healthcare Communications to imagine and then build an immersive experience for Boehringer Ingelheim.

The goal was to recreate an interactive experience that educated doctors about the disease states related to cardiovascular health. The experience involved a custom made transparent OLED screen that featured two digital human characters who explained their current health journeys, and then transformed into their younger selves posing the question: How could things be different with an alternative earlier intervention plan?

The footprint decal on the ground invited attendees to step in and meet the digital character. A depth camera embedded in the screen allowed the system to know when someone was engaging with the experience – once a viewer stood at the installation the digital character would welcome them to the event and tell them their personal story.

The immersive experience featured at ESC London, EASD Madrid and at the Boehringer Ingelheim campus in Germany.
